Its bad enough you have a fake tree, but a white fake tree? That is just wrong.

Are you aware that the modern fake tree in America was first marketed by the Addis Toilet Brush Company in the 1930's?

(from Wiki)
Quote:
Brush bristles

In 1930 the U.S.-based Addis Brush Company created the first artificial Christmas tree made from brush bristles.[8] The company used the same machinery that it used to manufacture toilet brushes.[2] The trees were made from the same animal-hair bristles used in the brushes, save they were dyed green.[3] For a time, the brush trees were immensely popular, with large numbers exported to Great Britain, where the trees also became popular.[2][2]

The true "classic" Christmas tree is a real one. Fake is fake.

I have 5 cats. I can't have a real tree. Plus (and I'm no tree hugger), I can't kill a tree for a month of enjoyment. When I was a kid the people down the street had a white tree that I could see through the window and I knew when I grew up I wanted one. I love it!
