Yours will probably never go through what those did either. I also have some other issues w glocks-looks, feel, trigger, amd no hammer/safety.

I never liked the way they felt in my hands. Kinda big and awkward for my little hands.

I was a huge beretta fan so when I first handled glock I was the same way. Now I wouldn't own anything else.

Here's my thing on GLOCK, junior (dude, your a seven year LEO and I'm calling you "junior". Not cool man).

I don't like them. I hate the ergonomics. I hate the trigger pull. I hate the lack of an external safety. Friend's Dad had an ND in his department when he bent over to tie his shoe. If they're so perfect, why are we on the fourth generation when they've been around for what? 30 years?

BUT!!!! I appreciate things that go boom when I pull the trigger. I appreciate something that, although I hate the ergos, I'm amazingly accurate with. I appreciate something that is simple and easy to maintain and repair, and is affordable. I appreciate the fact that, while I may be mistaken, I THINK the original factory torture tested G17 is still alive and kicking somewhere.

I'll have one some day. Just not any day soon
And I already know that I'll be getting the G17 and a few 33 round mags. Because holy cow, 33 round mags for a pistol. Nuff said.

That reminded me of this song sung by Junior Brown.

I wonder what it would take to make a 33 round mag for a 1911. OTOH, doesn't someone make a drum mag for 1911s?

Lmao!!! At least it would have a monopod to rest on with that long of a mag.
