Maybe?
It did make it convenient to adjust the heat in the cab while your under the hood though....

You can get that stuff on glockstore.com or eBay. I got both those parts on eBay from a company that makes that stuff I think in Connecticut. Paid 14 for the rear slide plate and 9 for the plug
