Maybe you should ask Santa for one for Christmas! Just what every woman wants, a vacuum cleaner.

Gee whiz, that's just wrong. You ought to buy your wife a vacuum cleaner just because she asks for one, not for Christmas!

Fathead is not allowed to buy me presents though he does anyways and ticks me off. I'm not a huge present person. I will buy the vacuum eventually. It's really expensive.

That's not nice to say he can't buy you presents. Gifts should neither be required nor forbidden. I used to bring my wife flowers all the time, ones I would pick in the wild or whatever, just because I knew she liked them and they are pretty. But then she stopped responding and sometimes would complain that they "cost too much", even though most of the time they were wildflowers, so I stopped bringing them home. Then she complains that I don't bring her flowers anymore..

He made me an awesome Bday present last year. That meant way more than a store bought present. I don't like "things". I would rather be taken somewhere to do something fun instead of getting a present.

How about guns and ammo? Would you like that?

He actually bought me ammo and magazines for my AR for part of my Bday present. Of course I liked it, but I just don't like people spending money on me. Don't know why. I've always been that way.

Well then maybe he should learn how to pick some flowers for you once in awhile. He just needs to learn how to do it without the gardener seeing him!

She asked for one right before Christmas. What was I supposed to do, not buy it?
