I'd rather my own son see me die on my feet as a free man, than watch him go, broken, into slavery.

Ya know, with all the "respect" I've recently lost here over some petty bull **** or another, I really don't give a flying **** what y'all think about my killing pets.

For one, it's not like I go hunting them down, and their owners get fair warning well before it happens. So... whatever.

I've had a dog killed by an *******. Two actually. One was by a jerk shooting across my property line specifically to kill my dog, because the dog barked and scared a deer he was watching and getting ready to shoot. I got pissed, took matters into my own hands, ended up paying for it later.

The other was by a guy who told me that if the dog chased his horses again, he'd shoot it. I got complacent, the dog got dead. Then I got a shovel. I shed a few tears, and felt sorry for the dog. I was to blame for the dog dying. And she was a good dog. She just liked chasing horses. Horses can cost up to millions of dollars on the extreme high end. These were worth about a grand each. He was justified in killing it.

So. If any of y'all have that much of a problem over me killing someone pet, a pet that's causing property damage, and after their owner has been warned, you can just keep having a problem. I've been on both ends, justly and unjustly

THAT is going overboard. Some consider what I've done, and what I WILL do, cruel. But no animal has ever suffered beyond what it's taken to kill it quickly and humanely under my hands, and I've never in my life done it for money or entertainment. I'm saddened each and every time an animal dies, even when I'm the one who's done it. Don't ever compare me to that monster. There are other monsters much more fitting for me to be compared to.

When I got my last truck, paid $35,000.00 for it. Parked it got up next morning cat tracks up the hood and windshield. Big deal hosed it off. Been many more since even coon tracks never caused any permanent damage.and a little spilled garbage is not what I would call property damage. Now if it were chewing the tires off your car or chasing million dollar livestock. That's quite different.

I've gotten many scratches on my car from cats. I've gotten the absolute worst scratches from a cat that took refuge on my car roof, from a dog. Now it was the dog that actually did the scratching in that scenario. I didn't kill either one. The garbage, admittedly, not much more than a huge aggravation. It wasn't no small amount though. The first time around, I watched the dog's owner pick it up, and it took him over an hour. The second time around, when I had to do it myself, it took two hours. I had better things to do than pick up a mess that someone else's dog made in my yard, like get my ass to work so I could pay my rent. And before you go making more assumptions, I'm not talking trash that was left out on the porch for weeks on end in a bag, I'm talking one of those roller cans with the lid lying flat closed.

I spent three years, a lot of money and a lot of time and hard work on my Camaro. Climbing on it damages the paint. I'm not saying that I should have killed it, I just wanted to scare it, I had told the cat's owner about my problem and he did nothing, I tried letting my dog chase it, the Damn thing kept coming back.

People need to take responsibility for their pets. If they are causing property damage, that problem needs to be fixed. If that problem can't be fixed, maybe the owner doesn't need to own a pet. I would be PISSED if I spent my hard earned money on something and the neighbors cat/dog teared it up. I wouldn't kill it (too much of an animal lover), but it damn sure wouldn't keep happening. I would first have a word with the owners. The pound is next. Finally, if that didn't work, that particular animal would find itself two counties over.
