Bathsalts are salts and other stuff that you put in your bath to relax and what not. But it is now one of the drugs a lot of people seem to be smoking or snorting or whatever other idiotic thing they do to escape their pathetic little lives.

Yeah. I don't think the stuff that people are smoking is actual bath salts though, but I could be mistaken.
A dude down in Florida got his face eaten off over that stuff.

from what ive read,its not actual bath salts that you put in your bath, its a synthetic form of cocaine like K2 is to marijuana.

Yes, it is synthetic cocaine. It would be illegal to sell it as a drug, so they call it something else. By the time the government chemically classifies exactly what it is and makes it illegal, the drug manufacturer changes the composition and they are still legal.
I stopped in a new tobacco store last year for some pipe tobacco, and they were selling the fake weed. I started asking about it, she said it was legal, but will be illegal in like two weeks, so hurry up and smoke it. No thanks. I won't go back.
