Wow, is it that cold up there already? I see a Carhart beanie and what looks like fleece...
Remember last time I was there? I only brought shorts and a Hawaiian shirt, late April or early May, and the freaking temperature hovered around the high fifties and low sixties... Should've been in the 80's at least. I was freaking freezing.

It's in the 60s but mainly that light rain you sent us from Louisanna. Jstrong got a beautiful mosin yesterday. I took the bolt out and looked down the barrel, I swear that thing has never been shot. Is that possible ? Made in 1933, hex, Izzy. The action is real tight also.

Never heard of unfired mosin. Likely it was just set aside during wartime because of it's just lightly older design, and they were cared for better before the war than during.

I want a hex so bad... They generally seem to be in slightly better condition just for that very reason.

Hmmm... Now gonna have to research and see if they made the m44 as a hex. Maybe one of our illustrious members will chime in and let me know...

Anyone?

Dude, what kind of camera did you use? That just has a very interesting look to it, kind of reminds me of some old family pics I found from the sixties.
