The weather here has been rainy and the pool is freezing...... We are busy this weekend so we can't go fishing but she has a new fishing pole so we'll have to take her soon.

define "freezing" ... less than 50 degrees?

and why not throw some fish in the pool then ..... keeps the pool open and the little one gets to go fishing

sometimes you just have to think outside the box a little

Hubby doesn't like to swim for starters. Water is probably in the 60's. We don't have a fancy heater. I will keep my mind open to these ideas in the future....we just joined a club with a few fishing lakes and a shooting range so we'll have lots of time to fish.

I've been planning on getting a Ladner yellow black mouth Curr (what a mouthful, right?), that's the same breed as ole yeller. A coworker breeds them. But, expenses and a lower paying job are taking their toll. I shall have to wait for a dog. Some more.

That sorry Hoe never wanted a dog. Oh lord, we always had to have a cat infestation, but I suffered the wrath of a woman scorned any time I brought up getting a dog. I was allowed one at one point. He died less than a month after I picked him up from the shelter, he had advanced stages of distemper when I brought him home and I didn't realize it. She laughed.
Sorry to hear of the passing of your young pup, and hope you get another soon! They are great for the soul, cats are okay but dogs just know when you need a boost. We have two and nothing helps at the end of a rough day than coming home to smiling bundles of joy!
