No i bought it new but everytime i took it back to a dealership they would tell me that they couldnt find anything wrong. Then after getting incompetent dealership mechanics to check it out for so long the car had gotten 30k miles on it and the warranty was out.

Crappy stroke of luck man. And here I am, I bought the lifetime warranty for my car, and the reason why? Because I drove the same model car with the same motor and transmission the day before, and the transmission took a dump. It was an 09 with 60k miles.

I firmly believe my car will take a huge dump one day, and it won't take long. But with my employee discount for the purchase price, and that warranty, it's worth it to me.

Yes they did, the 1986 model had a 1.6 litre engine.

Wasn't it called a Chevy II in the 80s? And I just learned something new, I thought they only put 6 and 8 cylinders in them.

My Chevy S-10 had pass lock 2 issues several times. Ended up bypassing the unit. Coated me a grand total of 1200 dollars from dealer to fix first 2 times. The third me and a buddy started looking into things and fixed it. No problems as of yet. Knock on wood!

Not completely positive. I was only six then. Never actually seen one except in photos. Wikipedia search said it was a nova from 85-88.
