My grandfather's ring was also taken. Gold nugget ring, 7 one karat diamonds in the center, surrounded by 19 quarter karat diamonds. At this point I couldn't care less about the other junk. I just want that ring back.

Thanks for the tip on Microsoft, I'm going to call them up and see if they can do anything.

The house right around the corner from me was broken into also. They took the same kind of stuff. Electronics, games, and small valuables. It's going straight to a pawn shop tomorrow morning, I guarantee it.

Luckily, I've recently befriended the proprietor of one of the only two pawn shops in town. He's friends with the other guy. They're already on the lookout.

My place was totally trashed after I spent most of the day cleaning it Friday. My xbox, two ball point pens (WTF? Really?), KABAR, and beer were gone. That's just the stuff I know about so far. Already had the cops out here to file a report, and already called the land lord to get the door replaced. I asked the cop about shooting someone if it happens again while I'm home. He said it would actually make his job easier as he wouldn't have to chase or track anyone down.
The glass is on the outside. Either they used a spring punch or,,,the glass was broken from the INSIDE.

Yeah, we've (the cop and I) have already figured they broke it from the inside.

I'm thinking young people, but not necessarily kids who want the stuff for themselves. Maybe under 18. If your walking into a pawn shop under 18 to sell a gun, the cops are going to be called immediately. (around here anyway).

You don't steal two xboxes, a ps3, a lap top, and men's AND women's jewelery unless your planning on selling it.
