Taping up cars is a bitch. I did my '83 Datsun 720 with spray cans and it was a pain in the ass. Mostly just because you have to take it all down to clean and sand between coats. Then you get to put it all back up.

I had an '85 datsun/Nissan 720 4x4 z24 motor. The first year they used the Nissan name. Loved that truck. 89k original miles.

I sanded, taped and sprayed the jeep today in 5 hours. Left my house at noon, was home by 6pm. Lol

Interesting. Some parts of my 720 said Datsun, but the rear gate said Nissan. Mine was rear wheel drive. 213K miles. Crushed it for 150 bucks cause it kept getting towed. People are too up tight these days, I swear. Just leave my damn truck alone! I live here!

Did it say Nissan big across the back with small Datsun on the bottom? Datsun big and Nissan small?

Nope. Just Nissan. Anyway. It's gone now. I wish it wasn't. Would have been a good little truck for me.

I wish I still had mine too. The rust on the body was far beyond repairable. I put it on eBay for $500 and a guy from Minnesota bought it. He emailed me about a year later after he restored it. Ill have to see if I can dig up some photos.

I'm a big fan of Nissan trucks. Ive had 5 of them.
