Yep. I drove ALL of them. You know my position on the mustang...and don't get me started on that "rolling pillbox" that is the Camaro. And I'm a Chevy man! NO visibility, cramped, ughhh! I considered a charger, but I didn't like the newest body style and couldn't find one I liked in the previous body style. Seems all the good ones were snapped up by folks like you....

Tires are a big part of it, yeah. I HATE Goodyear. What kind of mileage do you get with the Nittos?

What brand? The 275/40/17 would just blow off completely from a 30 mph roll. Redline instantly without dropping the clutch.... The drag radials took care of that. Yeah it's fun being able to jam on it and blow smoke threw two gears, trying to keep it on the road. But not fun when the guy at the light can hook.

Nice looking car.... They do look better than the new mustangs and camaros. I like the fox mustags personally.... The nittos last longer than any other tire we tried. Go for the nt555 for the street, better mileage for heavy right foot syndrome.

Thanks, man. I like the F body mustangs also. Mine needs to be dropped about an inch, and the hood needs to be snorked out...it's all on the list.

I'll def check out the nitto's, I really didn't know anything about them til you mentioned them just now. You have pics of yours?

My wife got a 2000 stang with 18 inch cobra r's the tires it came with were like new and she burned em up in 10 thousand miles.... The nittos should hold up to at least 30 thousand. We went with 275/40/18 nt555 non drag radials on her car. Cheaper is sometimes better....
