Pic of the new deck. Swapped my 78 Chevy to have it built.
Cool dock, looks like almost BBQ time, tough loss on the Chevy, but think the memories that happen on that deck, will far outweigh the the price of losing a vehicle.
Looking fwd to pics of you breaking it in!

Thanks Gordo. Have to wait for some sun to seal it, then will haul some nice patio furniture in. We get a great view of the sun going down over the Columbia River Bar from there.

Picked this up in Falklands on Sapper Hill the day after Argentinian surrender. Often wonder if the previous owner survived. Anyone got any info on what it represents.

Is that Wood Pressure Treated? I don't know about Oregon, but if that was built here, it would be gone in about 6 months from Termites.

Looks like cedar to me. My dads deck is 25+ years old and still perfect. Redwood is the best wood in the world for a deck.
