What's sad is, back in the day my parents had the last two cars in your post...albeit the chevelle had a 396. And I wanna say that the Camaro had a wing window, which would actually have made it a '67. They traded both off in the course of normal life. If they only had had a crystal ball.....
when i was born, i was brought home from the hospital in my dad's '70 GTO Judge, that was in '81. he later traded that for a Firebird with a worked up 455, which eventually got traded for a camaro, & so on & so on.
when i was in high school i asked him why he didn't keep any of those cars & he said "we never thought they'd be worth anything becuase everybody had one."
kinda makes you wonder about what we happily get rid of now. who knows, maybe some years down the road my northstar powered Cadillac might be worth some bucks.....though right now it's just a big pain in my ass
