we have had some nice warmer days and a good portion of rain, so things have been getting green and growing fast for almost a month now.

How about a few Spring pictures of our place on Cowee Mountain in western North Carolina. Its at about 3500 ft. elevation so its usually about 10 degrees cooler than in the valley. The Azaleas are starting to pop. The Rhododendrons are is getting close. The neighbors said we just missed the Cherry tree blooming by a week. We're about 6 miles north of Franklin and its a really nice area. The Smokey Mountain Center for the Performing Arts always has something going on. Last night the wife went to a "Taste of Home" cooking class there and in a few weeks we have tickets to see 38 Special. (For the longest I thought they were saying "Hold on Lucy." Go figure. .) The pictures are 1. House. 2. View from front porch. 3. View from across the pond. 4. Catfish. Some are around 2 ft. long. 5. View up driveway. 6&7. Up mountain behind house. 8. Water coming into the pond. We haven't seen a bear yet but our neighbors have.

That looks about like heaven too me. Just needs a shooting range.

My nephews bday yesterday. He loves to shoot, and is a great kid that I feel is unappreciated by his rents, so I try to spoil the **** out of him. Brought out a bunch of guns for him to shoot, a few hundred rounds of ammo, and his first KA-BAR, and a few other things.

Actually I have 2 neighbors on that dead end drive and one has a place beside his house we can shoot at about 25 yards into the side of the mountain so I can get my fix.

Mrs 3T and I took the pet snake up to the park this afternoon for a little fresh air.
