I have to drain my waterbed mattress and install a new one in 21 degree weather. That's the warmest it's going to be for a while. I'm not very excited about this project. But it must be done.

Pretty handy and I've had these a couple of years.

Just a suggestion to further your protection.

What are you going to sleep on for the next three days?
It takes a loooong time to heat that much H2O up.

Same here but it's 8:42 AM. We must be having a real heat wave.
We just got this thermometer that provides indoor and outdoor temps from Walmart $10.00. It has a sensor/sender that you hang outside and the receiver/display is inside. Pretty cool (no pun intended - but applicable ).

yeah i want a wireless cam but i would need one with battery backup and cellular capable. When the burglar broke in he switched off my main breaker which is outside and unplugged my phone lines.

Probably the recliner. But I do have a hook up for a sink. So I can partially fill it with warm water. Even if not......if you put enough layers between yourself and the cold mattress, you can sleep on the waterbed while it's cold. Believe me, I'm no newbie to this.

I can imagine sleeping on a cold waterbed being a bad idea. Heat always moves from high to low, it would just suck the body heat right out of you until all the water reached the same temperature as your body temp or close to it....
