I went to go pick up my deer/hog sausage at the processing place when I spotted this beautiful classic Jeep CJ. I stood in a light cold rain and talked jeeps with the owner for like 10 minutes. It was well worth getting wet, lol.

Lake Rawlings used for Scuba Diving Training - this lake was used in the movie "The Replacements" with Keanu Reeves. When he was under water playing football was just right of this dock. They have sunk a sailboat, bus, plane, have several computer monitors tethered to the bottom (they float due to internal gas) and many other unusual things. This is located in Central Virginia. Mama and I did our discovery dive here. Deepest is about 63'. You have to lay on your side on the bottom to pass one of the test at 60' as it registers in the diving regulator.

Our no. 2 son, Brian and one of his great catches.

Michael, Brian and I went to a mudrun riding 4 wheelers in WVA back in 2006 I believe. This is a hill climb where Michael rode up the front to about 20' from the top and lost traction. His 4 wheeler tumbled down the hill flipping not less than 15 times. When it got near the bottom it actually flipped over a guy sitting on his 4 wheeler and came to rest. WOW were we all lucky.

If the rain will stay away we'll have some fireworks fun with my inlaw's kids. I hope everyone has a healthy, happy new year.

I was admiring the new models (big change from '54) when I was approached by an employee. He asked if I could drive a new Olds to Ft. Worth. They would pay me and give me bus fare to return. What?? Why hell yes! (I had a DL) So off I go to Ft. Worth in a brand-new Rocket 88. Have you any idea the thrill of driving a new Rocket 88? At age 17?
