Good compression. Starter has big enough balls to throw you into a wall when you accidentally bump the shifter while trying to jump start it. Speaking of, clutch doesn't work. Brakes leak fluid.

Seems in good enough shape, but only had about 30 minutes to tinker with it. I'll tear into it more tomorrow and see if I can get it going.

You wouldn't believe how much I paid for it...
What is it 500cc? Either way its a bike and there fun no matter make or model.

82 Honda ft500

Discovered this morning that the fuel valve was open, but the fuel lines weren't hooked up.

It was thumping hard yesterday when I was trying to jump it off, apparently with no gas. It seems to have great compression and a good starter.

Gas usually helps. Maby you will be making loud noises with it today.

Already done it! Hooked up the gas, jumped it from the lawnmower, it fired right up and ran it's ass off!

Actually, she'll be flying in tonight. See, I'm so awesome, I can get a mechanic to fly in from Wyoming. Kinda helps that I'm engaged to her...

Congrats on being the owner of a running motorcycle. Now get off line and go ride the hell out of that thing.

Have a good weekend but don't spent too much time on the bike, get in some shooting or something while she's there.
