Customer brought this into the shop. We estimate at least 6 bullets in the bore. Customer is not sure how many are in there. We gave it back to him to have it sent to Smith to have the barrel replaced. Removing 1 bullet is doable, when you start talking 2 or more it gets VERY difficult. We can see the one in the front and there is another about 3/4" from the breech. Dillon progressive did this to him (translation--he did it to himself).
A smith I knew (passed on now) had a S&W barrel with a stack of bullets lodged in it, he machined off one side so you could see them as a cutaway. Pretty cool and a testament to the strength of a S&W barrel. No bulging was apparent.
