Tractor forum.com is pretty good but I stopped spending a lot of time there after finding his forum.

Thanks so much Emo for that.

I have several 'cheap' cameras for work and play, but my best one that I own is a Nikon D5100 DSLR. Its my favorite camera, but sometimes I am afraid to take it out to some of the places I get myself into.

The Nikon Lenses I use are the standard 18-55mm and the 55-200mm lenses that comes with the kit. I once in a while also use a 70-300mm that a friend is trying to sell me, but im still on the fence with that one.

These are from the D5100 the other evening. As I started to take some pics of the sun finally setting, the mosquitoes came out, and so did the dragon flies.

I remember when the 5100 came out. It was the first Nikon that made DSLR video easy because of the fold out display, yet was still "professional grade." One of ours is the next model up (D-90) but doesn't have the screen that folds(flips) out. Both have the same chip...the other one we have is a newer D7100. The lenses make a big difference. Nikon lenses for some reason capture light and colors better then some others....
When we started the biz several yrs. ago we wanted to get D3's but they were just too outrageously priced....
