I've had a black/gold 79' TA that I bought around the turn of the century,it has been a fun ride...Except everyone always asks where's Burt?? I normally reply with, " I slipped the the TA out and left Burt at the old folks home!" haha

No i've never been to the Trans am Nationals, sounds like a great time!
When the 79' came out I thought Pontiac ruined the Firebirds? I really like the older firebirds 67-68 and the early to mid 70s are really cool old cars.
