Some pics of the weekend shoot. We had targets set up at 200 and 380 yards (measured by laser range finder) plus a couple of steel targets. Off the range we had squirrels and rabbits for live fire practice. Most of the time was spent shooting paper and steel though due to the heat. This was down south in Lockwood, CA very close to Fort Hunter Liggett. To get there you go to Hell, take a right and continue for 30 miles. It was hotter than a popcorn fart throughout the afternoon. Lots of brass was flying and a good weekend was had by all.

It was good fun, but we didn't see any pigs which is what we were hoping for. My buddy who owns the ranch called yesterday and said his neighbor (whom we all met) called and said that he knew where the pigs are moving over on his place and said we could hunt his land when we go back down. That was another one of the reasons we went was to make some more connections and hopefully get more land to hunt on. Right now with the neighbor's land it is 300 acres. Most of it is rolling hills with barley fields on the flats where the cattle graze. Good pig country when it isn't so dry.
