At least I got one right. The Nigerian definitely looks like a young Saanen. Mine are mostly mutts, crosses of Saanen, Toggenburg, Nubian, Alpine, and some Lamancha. They're all pets so they have a pretty easy life.

Actually in a lot of cases the waste gas isn't bad, they just don't have a way to recover it economically. So they flare off the gas that comes up along with the oil. Used to be you could tell how much production a platform was making by seeing how big the flare flame was!

This is our FPSO. NOT the one we light with the flare gun, lol. When this one's flare is really kickin' it's putting out about a 300ft flame.

If by some chance I were interested in doing alot of jail time, that would be easy to do and the maximum caliber I would try. I'm sure .410 would even be fine for about 3 shots.
Jail time aside the idea is rendered useless by the inherent inaccuracy of the gun.
At the ranges where you could guarantee a hit (knife range) a flare would be just as effective. I guarantee you would get a reaction from the person being hit in the stomach with a flare.
