That and the fact that you can just dump the bad ones and free up the space. With film once its exposed that is it.

exactly! i have several media cards for mine and rechargeable battery packs that i can even recharge in the car.

heres two that were interesting we took at the fountain at the Alamo. me taking a picture of the wife while she got one of me on hers!

Not your imagination. Most inland towboats ride pretty deep. This one probably recently took on fuel.

Being on the river I expect those are flat-bottom boats? What does the propulsion look like?

Not flat bottoms, well not entirely.

Propulsion? Big ass diesels with huge gear boxes hooked to big wheels or props. Normally around 110" iirc.
