Can't argue with your logic but be assured I don't do this on a regular basis.
Especially now that I have admittance to the Carolina Motorsports track about 15 miles from home.

Ford's are normally governed at between 95 and 100.

No point in even seeing what the top speed is unless it has no governor or its tuned. Because they all have approximately the same top speed otherwise.

I don't know what dodge governs theirs at, but my speedometer goes to 120. I got it up to 110 before I decided to back off since the Louisiana state Nazis (highway patrol) have a **** ton of brand new Tahoes they're trying to pay for. They love to cover the West Monroe-Ruston gap. Not uncommon to count 30 slicked up Nazi Tahoes on that 27 mile stretch of interstate.

It's an F150 ecoboost. It tends to stay in the lower gear when you hammer it.
It gets 18-20 when at 55-60mph but with the cruise control set at 80 up and down the hills of southern Kentucky it's not all that stellar. Better than the Chevy I sold before getting this tho. 14 mpg and topped out at 92 mph.

Speaking of hitting a whitetail while driving, let me assure you, deer can fly!

Several years ago, I was heading to work @ 5 am, when a mature doe bolted out in front of me while I was going about 45 - 50 mph, on a local two lane country road. She came from the passengers side & I hit her square across the grill of my Jeep Cherokee. She cleared the on-coming lane of traffic at about 3 -4 feet above the pavement and landed on the far shoulder in a pile.

Thank God, no one was coming the other direction @ that time!

I don't drive anything lower than a Jeep Cherokee these days, because her back was exactly even with my hood when she was sent flying!

My mom had a Chevy Silverado that would make it up to 96-98 before the governor kicked in.

I've made it up to 96-100 in my Ford Focus, and I'm not sure if the Governor ever kicked in.

you wouldn't think a Ford Focus would even need a governor!

They have actually used focuses as a street racing car. lol

Though, I don't think they're using SEs.

Not my first choice for a "sports" car. My first choice would be something along these lines.
