"Keep Santa Cruz Wierd!" is a commonly seen bumper sticker around here. This guy is doing his part! (Yes, that's a live rabbit on his head!)

Saw it a while back. It was a great experience. Makes me proud to be a Texan.

it gives one a very special feeling to stand there and to think about all the history of the place. my wife had never been before we went several years ago. last September was her second time and my sixth trip there. i wanted to take pictures of the inside, but they don't allow that.

Gonna take you back in time to Feb 68 during TET in Kontum City Vietnam. As we were headed to the fight ( see smoke in left foreground) a South Vietnamese soldier was peddling his bike rapidly away from the action.

Thought that was pretty funny and typical of the ARVN's.

Reminds me of a saying we used to have:
"Wanna buy an ARVN rifle, never been fired and only dropped once".

My daughter and I are both taking lessons. She has a Epiphone Les Paul. I find the Strat to be a comfortable guitar. Do love the meatier sound I can get from the LP. The Texas Specials do add a little more grunt.
Tried one if the thin line Tele guitars at guitar center. It felt nice too.
