We get Lifeflight working around here with all too much regularity. This is a destination drive for bicyclists, motorcyclists and wannabe racers. Lots of accidents are the result.
Here are a couple of videos showing this road. The first one is from the very southern end (Skyline actually starts at 1:32 into the video). Along this stretch it is known as "The Goat Trail" and is not a high-speed road by any measure. I can usually easily keep up with the sport bikes when I am following them in my Super Duty
This appears to be the same rider from where the previous video stops to the next major intersection- the road is substantially wider, having two full lanes and a center line
. At 7:45 he passes the entrance to the gun range I go to.
