We have a fellow shooter that has his fathers 1953 Yellow Jacket boat with a green Johnson outboard engine. The boat and engine look as new.

There's supposed to be a guy across the bay From Mobile with the largest collection of vintage outboards. Gonna track him down soon

that would be cool to see, I love old marine type stuff

one of my dad's uncles had an old Minn-Kota electric trolling motor, might have been a 6 volt not too sure anymore. It kinda looked like one of those old malt shop blenders. next time i'm home i'll hafta see if it's still around & maybe snap some pictures of it.

My dad called Minn-Kota to try & get parts & info on it, they said their records went back to '57 I think & based on the serial number this motor was older than that.
