sorry dick, but i have to agree with the others. just doesn't set a good example of safe and proper firearms handling and goes against all good sense. there are lots of newbies and young ones that visit this forum and to think that many of would condone such careless practices, would be wrong on your part. and to think that some of us would not ay something about it, you would be wrong again.
also most firearms accidental deaths or injuries, many have said they thought the gun was empty. in all the years you have said of handling firearms, you might give this some thought and count your blessings on being very lucky all these years.
