Amen to that. The only time your finger should be on the trigger is when you are going to or are discharging the weapon and ONLY then. As the wiseman said, always treat every firearm as if it is loaded. I have followed that rule for the 25 years +/- a few that I've had handguns and to this date I've never had an accidental discharge, thank The Lord. Please pay attention to this advise.

Rule #2. Never point a gun at anyone who is not putting you life or some one else's in immediate danger even if your positive the gun is not loaded.
