Umm... MV from an M16 is around 3100 FPS. You sure you didn't make a mistake in there somewhere?

They are know as Camel Spiders, or sometimes Sun Spiders or Wind Scorpions. You see them a lot in the Middle East (probably other places too).

They are not actually spiders, or scorpions. They are Solifugaes. Another type of a Arachnid



Something like those that run faster than us? Sheesh. That would keep you on your toes.

The ticks were dead. Mold growing on them pretty much guarantees that.

Nope, didn't make a mistake. 2045-2386 MPH translates to 3000-3500 FPS.
