You are thinking of Southern CA. Different deal here in Norcal. We do have fires, but the houses (like mine) where the homeowners are prepared don't burn. The ones that do get rebuilt and are worth double the money when they are done. Case in point: our original house was destroyed in the 1989 earthquake and we rebuilt with insurance money. The cool part is that our stuff was not destroyed like a flood, fire, hurricane or tornado will do. It was just all scrambled up inside the ruins of the house. We could still find everything, and the stuff that was broken we were compensated for. Win/win!

As for the tools - no idea the resale value on used tools. Gunshops in my area pay approx 50% on the dollar or consignment fee 20%. Only high end pieces seem to hold their value.
Yeah, that or I can come out and clean the place out for you- make it into a nice gunsmithing room and all and take away all of that car stuff. 'Course it would take awhile as I have to go to gunsmithing school to do it right.

Beautiful little garter snake I snuck up on while weed eating. Thought about making a sweet bracelet, but considering their nature, I just didn't want to kill it.

There is another place next door, 1.2 acres of bare dirt with a well but no suitable building site, that sold on foreclosure to another neighbor for just under $400K a year ago.

WOW!! Viking Thats a lot!!!!
Im selling a 40 acre ranch for $200,000 here in AZ. It has a small ranch house, barn, horse track with gates, and well... (The barn and track need some work)
