What the heck is that? It reminds me of a ball bearing.

Thats from the laser that's used to meassure inside and outside diameterand roundness. I got a new lens and just wanted to play around a little

Yeah, I'm still learning but I've had a lot of camera over the past years and I have never had a Canon break down on me.
It was at work today. Need to put together a presentation for Deere.
We're ramping up on a new assembly project for John Deere and the supplier for the shafts (in Turkey) are so bad that we had to get a the little automatic measuring doodad to check each of them and now they're doing it with the bearings too to help prevent recalls.
