Like this, roc?
Speer gold dot .45 shot into a large watermelon, recovered in around 5 inches of moist soil behind the melon. It cut the melon in half, except for one small ring of rind holding it together on one side.
Winchester 45 grain .223 HP shot into gallon milk jugs of water, lined up nice and straight. The second jug surprisingly caught the separated jacket and core. I expected more penetration, but it is a light load. Rated velocity is 3400 fps, I don't have a chrono.
