Yep. Im a beer guy at heart. Nothing better than a good beer, regardless of style IMHO, But I do enjoy mead and cider as well. Wine is ok once in a while but not a big fan. Dont touch hard alcohol anymore, although I guess that can be debated as some of the beers I drink are in the 15-18% range..

I was going through my pictures of Oahu and came across one & I was all "damn...that's a really good photo" and now I want to get it printed on photo paper

You might try cooking with it. Kind of like using a beer to cook a brisket in a crockpot. You could probably use mead with ham or pork roast to get a really good stew / gravy. The alcohol cooks off so you wouldn't be drinking.
