That's about what I thought. The cracks were so dark though that I was hoping it was oil splatters in a strange pattern...

How the freaking hell do you break a tractor in two?

No one knows? Most likely they were having fun bouncing the slope mower trying to get the tractor off the ground. Yes that type of behavior is normal.

Here is one of a several thousand dollar stainless steel salt box that they dumped asphalt over. In summer, several months after it should have been removed. A very difficult procedure that consist of about 5 minutes 4 pins 2 quick detach hydraulic lines.
