Not huge really. About 2.5" to 3".

Get her dirty, then clean her so she starts to respect you. When her trust is complete, she will serve you well for a lifetime!

Iím really not 100% sure. I told my kids that they could keep it if they could find out what kind of spider it was and give me a solid run down about the details of it. We thought it was a wolf spider but itís two or three times bigger than a wolf spider. It was also facing the glass when while it was getting down with one of the crickets and it has some serious little fangs that it puts to use when eating. Itís a hefty eater too. Itís put down 6 crickets in three days. It wont eat the meal worms either. It just tracks them down, kills them, and leaves them dead.I put long strips of tree bark in the tank and it tends to hang upside-down from them a lot too.

We get shipments at work from Turkey, India, Italy, Germany, and China so it may be something thatís done some traveling to get here. I duknow. I do know that if it jumps on me I will kill it.

I think it is a wolf spider of some sort. Put some leaves and grass and light soil in there. See if it burrows in. I think they have 4 little eyes, 2 big eyes, and 2 medium eyes. They are poisonous.
