You're right, that's too cold. It was 83F here in Oklahoma yesterday.

Strange. Sushi is a decidedly Japanese cuisine. I wonder why a Chinese restaurant would have it? Branching out I guess?

One thing with sushi is it absolutely MUST be fresh if its to be any good. Leftover sushi tastes like ass, and it can make you really sick to boot.

I have a place nearby, don't know what the hell to call it.

Chinese buffet... Named "Mongolian grill"... Also has Tai food... Pizza and cheeseburgers... Sushi and other decidedly Japanese foods... pastas... Steaks and baked potatoes...

Calls themselves a Chinese restaurant. Run by Chinese people.

I simply call it "the buffet".

I gotcha. I don't frequent them joints myself. Around here there are little enclaves of just about every ethnic group that exists if you know how to look for them. You just go there if you want some of their kind of food. It is actually pretty cool. I bet I could get me some bear gall bladder for Gello if I wanted too!

yes i knew that sushi was Japanese, and the same restaurant has a Hibachi grille and Mongolian grilled items as well. i think they are going after an Asian theme.

the town we live near where it's at, is only a little over 18,000 in population. we now have three Chinese restaurants in our town. each one a little different than the other.
