anyone know where lead letters and numbers could of been used? bought 50lbs of lead today... gonna make bullets for my new gp100. just thought it was funny they were letters and numbers.

We tape small lead numbers to the outside of aerospace components and then X-ray them. That way the information ( lead numbers ) shows up bright white on the film. The ones we use are a little over 1/2 tall, but look pretty much the same.

When I got my hand xrayed, they shot it from several different angles, and placed an "RH" (Right hand) and a corresponding number denoting the sequence of shots.

Maybe he's just too smart to want to take orders! There are times when I know mine know what I want but just choose to not listen. They'll even turn their heads away as if thinking "If we don't make eye contact, he won't think we heard him!" Doesn't go over we'll.
