Thanks for the info on the carbine.
I mag dump my hp22a all the time and it performs perfectly. Mine was a matter of finding the right ammo. It will not function well with high velocity anything. It loves Remington SubSonic!

That's pretty cool to hear, when the weather gets better I want to target practice with mine again, it shoots accurately, at least it did last time I used it.
What is the velocity on those Remingtons? I was firing with federal's "high velocty" but was only rated at around 1200 fps. From around 30 yards out it was shooting pretty accurately.

1050 fps at muzzle, from rifle. Out of handgun your guess is as good as mine.

Thats fine by me. And my wife wont mind she loves shooting just as much as me. Now to find some .45 ammo. I have a few 100 pieces of brass that ive picked up but no one has .45 ammo in stock. And I need to find dies for .45acp. The gun show I went to on Sunday was out of pistol primers and no one had dies for common caliber.

Bad advice - probably given by one of the "GlockoNutz"...
Warning: 1911s can be habit forming.

Ha, actually not at all. I think there is a reason. I wasn't told not to get one, just not to do it right away....
I'm already addicted and I don't even in one. Yeah, I have a problem....
