Up in the right hand corner of the app, there's a button that says advanced, select that then it will give you the option to attach from a camera or from photos

When I was younger my Aunt brought me an egg shaped paper weight that is made of ash from Mt. St. Helen. I still have it. That post just made me smile. Thanks.
