Using a bicycle inner tube on a XD-S. It is not pretty but saves money for care and feeding of my little friends.

I was living in Yakima the day that mountain blew...never seen anything like it. It wasn't pretty thereafter for quite awhile. I remember those ash clouds billowing overhead after it popped and the roadgraders plowing the ash like snow too.
