I consider myself a semi-pro. I do a fair bit of photography - have been since high school and worn out a few cameras over the years.

I now have a Nikon D40 and am in the process of adding new lenses and flashes and other tools to it. Someday I hope to upgrade to something like a D90 or D7000 or whatever when the time comes.

Just what I need, another expensive, time consuming hobby!

Here is one of my first attempts at HDR (High Dynamic Range) photography. Subject is the Moonrise over the government dock in Tahsis, BC. Photo was taken on November 20, 2010 and processed to create this image.
