Have you taken a step back, then tried hitting it with a stick? That was my best fix when I managed the engineering dept. Frothing at the mouth while cursing incoherently worked some times, but the stick always got results....
I had a nice piece of Hickory hanging on the wall of my office with "kindness" lettered on it. When I told the joke about killing them with kindness the engineering staff always got nervous and went out to find problems to fix. All on their own with no prodding from me...
