400 twin. it started life as a 1978 CB400 Hawk & looked a lot like this when I bought it, although much more worn. I ditched the mini ape hangers & large windshield, put on a set of clubman bars, got rid of the heavy stock exhaust & put on a 2 into 1, then painted the whole thing flat black. the most common comment I get is about the seat, it's the stock pan with all foam removed & the bumpstop is actually a Suzuki Hayabusa passenger cowl.

it's not fast really, but it's still fast enough to be fun & scare the sh*t outta you if you're not careful....especially with the drum brakes.

the bike cost me $200, as it sits in the pictures, I might have $500 into it including the purchase price

Nice one Cinder! I bet your dad is almost as proud of that as he is of you.

Thats one sweet ride rocker! Its the hopped up version of our green Chevelle we had in the early 70's (Inherited from our great anunt that only drove it once a month). My sister smashed it, Im still pissed at her, it would have been worth a small fortune in the condition it was in if I had it today!

You definitely hit it out of the park with that one!

I'll bet you make that Chevy look good when you get behind the wheel!
