Poor Firearms safety at it's best.....

I think I would have pistol whipped this guy.....

Absolute gun morons!! The child excluded, he doesn't know any better. The guy instructing (and I use the term loosely) should have only loaded one round in the revolver if he knew the friend was a gun moron.

Lucky no one was injured!

I have seen this type of behaviour several times at the range. There are many weapon " experts" out there, some are instructors that watch too many rambo movies. I always report them to the range safety officer. That pisses them off, hopefully as much as they piss me off.

Gordo323 06-20-2010 03:16 AM

No, absolute gun morons including the kid, cause look at where, and whom he is getting his training from! He flopped that gun down on the BBQ as if it was infected with AIDS.
My boys and grandkids would have gotten a severe a$$ whoopin for that alone!

Gordo323 06-20-2010 03:19 AM

Oh sorry , it wasn't a bbq but a nice Pelican case!
Still pi$$es me off though!

Totally off-point! Love the avatar, Gordo. He sure is shrugging these days, huh?

I'm pretty hyper-sensitive about safety, but every now and then I do something that just makes me thank God that it didn't go as bad as it could have.

Man, These are the type to end up in the paper with the accidental discharge headline.

William 06-20-2010 06:19 AM

If I was the range master and I saw someone pull that bull first I'de give them a chewing out then I would kick there butt off the line. Granted when I was younger I accidently took out a window when I was liek twelve the same way it could have just as easly been a person with this guy not to mention a young one, sorry it gets me mad about this type of thing. one the other foot did anyone see a AR-15 in the vid?

TheDaggle 06-20-2010 07:13 AM

All too common unfortunately. A former co-worker decided to use discarded steel fixtures and appliances as targets, and got a .357 in the stomach for his efforts. The stupid are legion.

Pat-inCO 06-20-2010 04:03 PM

Some people are too stupid to own guns.
Fortunately or unfortunately we can not legislate that.

I guess that's what the Darwin awards are for. :D
