My favorite car of all I’ve owned. 1964 Bonneville 4-door hardtop. 389, Hydramatic, low ratio rear end. Had the new NaugaHyde upholstery!

many moons ago, I had a 75 trans am came with a 400 and an m22 rockcrusher.

the 400 blew up...was replaced with a 428 (actually a 427, but, to avoid confusion with chevy, they called it a 428)

the m22 couldn't handle that (less than 48 hours survival time) , so super t-10s started going in.

we won't even discuss the squeeze set up.

damn, I miss that monster.

I always thought the M22 was a pretty stout tranny......?
