Default The Pond

A few pics of my 4 and 1/2 acres of solace. No matter if I was in the office all day, or out in the heat turning a wrench, I can always go out and get away by working on the the pond!

Mowing, clearing brush and limbs, feeding the fish, or just sitting on the picnic table as the sun goes down recharges my soul.

Toward the west.

North east to the damn. ( the damn is 38' high!)

South neck

Oh and there are plenty of fish if you are so inclined.......

My son Vance with a 5# Bass.

Sighting in a new scope on a 308 can ruin several turtles day

Beautiful place. I am hoping to have one built on my property someday. Had an estimate or two, but it is darned expensive.

We were lucky enough to buy this property in 1992 when it was cheap.....

I've lived around the area my whole life and from what I been told the damn was put in in 1952..... I was born in 1965.

Very nice, I know your peace, I have a bit more land but a smaller pond, love to stretch my bones just sitting in the peace of it all. I included a shot off the back deck, whoda guessed that this is NY (the real NY, not the one you see on TV)? It aint quite heaven but its as close as Im gonna get while my hearts still beating!
