Default Is this poison ivy?

If it is, I'm gonna be pretty pissed off because I got all up in it a few minutes ago.

Usually poison ive is more rounded on the ends, and go to one point, not the several points you have there, but ya, it looks like it. Are ya starting to get the itchys or swelling?

I took a shower as soon as I came in and I'm not itching, so I may have dodged a bullet. I'm alot more careful with it because of last year. I worked for a contractor who my dad's coal mine hires to do various odd jobs and unskilled construction, we were tasked with cutting away Japanese Knotweed from a stream mitigation site. During a break, I laid down on a fallen log that I had been cutting around, and that log had a big ol' poison ivy vine wrapping around it. Got it all on both arms, up my back, on my ass, on my thighs, my hands. It took three weeks, a shot of hydrocortisone and two rounds of pill-form hydrocortisone, a billion oatmeal baths, me spraying both rubbing alcohol and bleach on it, and constantly blowing it with a hair dryer for it to finally clear up.

the irratant in poison ivy and poison oak is oil based and some soaps won't wash it off fully. use rubbing alcohol instead. the quicker you are to washing it off when exposed to it, will minimize the effects.
