Default Plumbing Forum

I acquired a plumbing forum. It's pretty much dead though. Could use some help kick starting it.

So if you have a plumbing question, even if you know the answer or are a Professional plumber please help out:

I was a carpenter. I only know plumber jokes.

What's your idea with having a plumbing forum?

It came up for sale and I couldn't pass it. Real cheap because it's so small.

Seems like a good concept though. I do my own plumbing and could use help here and there.

Is there a lot of money to be made in forums?

I would say 95% of forums are hobbyist just breaking even. A lot of factors come into play like the subject, how large it is, age group of the forum. This site is pretty big and it barely breaks even. We just can't make much off ads since no major advertising networks that accept firearm sites. So we rely pretty much on upgraded memberships and even with that there are fees (PayPal fees, postage, decal).

So...since I know nothing about plumbing, is it acceptable to go shake stuff up in the "Club House" equivalant over there?

This could be a fun challenge.

I do know chit rolls downhill, hot equals red and cold equals blue, and I know how to use a toilet plunger.

What kind of decal do we get when we join?

I know almost nothing about plumbing. I can fix my own stuff but that's as far as I go with it.
