Phone Picture settings for posting online?
Since I got my Droid X (a.k.a. the coolest thing that has ever been cool before ) I never touch my digital camera. I think I can send pictures directly from my phone to an online hosting site like photobucket, but I haven't tried setting it up because the pictures are SOO big. Usually the pics are in the neighborhood of 3000 pixs wide
So I download them to my computer then crop and resize them before uploading them to photobucket.
What I'm wondering is what settings do you guys use on your cameras for posting online, and can you send them directly to photobucket or do you have to use a different site?
Any other tips would also be appreciated. Thanks, Jesse

I haven't even bothered trying to upload pics straight from my iPhone; I sync pics to my computer, edit in photobucket then post from there..

I just upload them from phone to computer and resize in paint by pixels, not %. For posting here, I just change the first pixels to around 750 or 800 and upload through manage attachements.

I'll either sync my phone to my computer, or if its just a few pictures I want, I'll email them to myself and upload them through the attachments instead of the insert image.

This. You can also set it to upload every time you take a picture so you don't have to think about it.

That's sweet thanks guys. I never even thought about them having an app...heck "there's an app for that" too.
I'll download the app and check it out after work.
Thanks again!

For what it is worth, Google's picassa gives you a email address that you can email pics from the phone straight to your picassa account. Then picassa gives you several different size options to link to.

Whatever all that means! I save them, and load them into photobucket.
